| Self-Limiting Heat Trace Cable | BH Thermal self-limiting cable will adjust it's power output in relation to the surface temperature and ambient temperature. As the temperature increases the the resistance within the cable increases, thus decreasing the wattage output. Self-limiting cable is designed to be used safely with or without a temperature controller. Self-limiting cable is ideal for low temperature maintenance applications such as freeze protection. |
| Constant Wattage Heat Trace Cable | BH Thermal constant wattage cable is designed to produce a give amount of wattage (therefore heat) per linear foot on a particular voltage circuit. Constant wattage cables require a temperature controller. They are ideal for higher temperature applications (up to 500 F) and for temperature control. Tapes are available in a variety of standard lengths and require a temperature controller. |
